She opened a studio in Lyons and her work Sleep was included in the book Women Painters of the World. Publisher & Print Info: Though there is no publisher info printed on the piece, the Chromolithograph was published as an ‘Art Supplement’ in the Chicago Tribune December 1, 1895, form the “Famous Paintings of Europe”, Copyright The Knapp Company, New York, and her original painting of this scene was exhibited in the Paris Salon des Champs-Élysées de 1894 to much success from visitors of the Salon, and an engraving after the work was also published that same year by Émile F.
