Description: Welcome to my listing for a lot of 2 ceramic coffee mugs from the 1980 election year that reference the two main US political parties: one features a Republican elephant and a Democratic donkey, with the bipartisan message "VOTE 1980," while the other features a half elephant / half donkey creature, with the message "UNDECIDED 1980." The designs are printed in patriotic red and blue agains a white background. There's no info on where, or by whom, the mugs were manufactured. These are cylindrical ceramic mugs, about 3.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. Both mugs are in great shape, with no cracks or chips or stains or crazing, and the printing is so bright and glossy that I'm guessing they never went through the dishwasher. However they were purchased previously owned and may have a very slight amount of wear from careful use. Great gifts for this political season, and great mementoes of a presidential year of the past!
