Description: Juliette CB-9012 12 Transistor Super Heterodyne Transceiver, Vintage In Box. Condition is "Used". Box is in very good condition considering its age. Small amount of packaging damage inside from years of storage. The unit is in very good condition, but has not been tested because the battery holder (6 AA) has gotten brittle and broke (see photos). You will need to replace it (these holders are readily available online) and it takes AA batteries. The unit was tested and works with a 9 volt. If you want to replace the holder, they are available for a few dollars here on ebay. NOTE: I TESTED THIS OLD STOCK UNIT AND IT DOES WORK AS IT SHOULD WITH A 9 VOLT BATTERY, BUT BECAUSE I DIDN’T HAVE AN ORIGINAL BATTERY COMPARTMENT TO TRY, THIS UNIT’S CONDITION IS SOLD AS IT IS WITH KNOWN DEFECT OF BATTERY HOLDER.
