Description: Here is a vintage Croton Nivada Grenchen Aquamatic self winding gold plated watch. This rare linen dial, 17 jewel manual wind watch is from an estate sale. Runs. Automatic wind movement runs and keeps good time. This is a vintage watch from an estate sale so service is unknown and highly recommend. The acrylic crystal has scratches that maybe buffed out but I think it shadows nicely on the dial. Linen dial looks amazing at any angles. Case and caseback does have dings and scratches. Leather band is used and shows wear. Not original to the watch. Looks to be 1-2mm to short for the lugs. This is a magnificent vintage watch. A must for any Croton, Nivada Gretchen or general watch collector. This watch is used and thus being sold “as is” with no warranty. No box and no papers.
