Description: For sale is a vintage tang firmer chisel, weighing 10.6 oz., with steel measuring 1-1/2" wide X 6-1/4" long, with a cracked and broken 4-7/8" wood handle with a 1-9/16" long iron ring, needing to be replaced. Signed "Buck Bros Cast Steel", the steel is in very good overall condition, showing use and wear, with a somewhat rough edge with some chipping, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. Any honing, sharpening, cleaning and detailing is left up to you.
