Description: This is a rare antique Art Deco c1930s chandelier with molded amber glass slip shades made by Globe Lighting that came to me from a collector. The frame of the light remains in its original state with some loss of the original polychrome paint, but no rust. It has only been lightly cleaned. It measures 17"w and will drop 25" to the bottom of the finial once installed. The six light sockets are original. They have been resoldered. All wiring has been updated and the exposed wiring is period correct gold cloth covered wire. The light has a three-way switch which is operational. The shades are in exceptional condition with no major chips or cracks, however there are a few tiny flea bite chips that you cannot see unless scrutinized up close and are not visible once the shades are in place. It was very difficult to capture these in pictures and are not notable, but I have to mention. It's rare to find a light like this to have all six shades in this condition after 90 years! It is a lovely representation of the Art Deco era and it's ready to light up your life for the next 90!
