Description: Vitagraph 35mm Film “Wonders Of Araby” In Metal Shipping Case. Early Warner Bros film. This film is untested and it’s length and what is on it, if anything, is unknown. It is believed to have vinegar syndrome as upon entering the area where the film is stored, I usually get a strong whiff of vinegar but then it quickly either dissipates or I possibly just get used to it. I describe the smell in case that gives anybody who may be familiar with restoring these types of films an idea of the level of damage. Aside from the smell, I do not know anything about this film other than what is written on the sides of it of which I tried to take photos of everything. The metal shipping case shows obvious wear but the hardware seems to be functioning correctly although it takes a little effort to open the case once unlatched. Please examine all photos.
