Description: Beautiful, large original watercolor of Virginia’s daughter, Laurie. This elegant painting hung in Fouche’s den behind her comfy sofa for many years. She lovingly created this piece on Edisto Island when her daughter was 25 years old. Mrs. Bolton’s husband, Don had miraculously survived a massive heart attack in 1983. (Mrs. Bolton called her church and they ser up many prayer chains to save his life.) Her daughter came down to help her father rehabilitate for 4 months while her mother ran their art gallery in Charleston. Once Don got better, he lived another 9 years which proved to be instrumental in perhaps the most productive phase of Virginia’s painting career.
