Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is a Vintage Wright & McGill All American 8 ½’, Fiberglass No. DF Casting Rod. Manufactured in the USA in the early to mid 1950s. Has the Eagle Claw logo on it with @1930. The rod is in very nice condition given its age and possible use. The split cork handle is clean and intact. Measures 14” on the butt grip and 4 ¾” on the fore grip. The metal reel seat is a light green with single, down-locking nut. Blanks are a darker, flecked brown with green wraps. Please look carefully at the second line guide as it is set in at a slight angle. It doesn’t look damaged or repaired but is a point of interest. This is a heavy, 2 handed, rod from an earlier era of fishing. Please review the pictures and contact me for more pictures or additional information.
