Description: Beautiful vintage firkin bucket with a wooden banded handle and lid adorned with hand-painted daisies signed by Juanita. This piece is approximately 10 inches high and 10 inches in diameter and weighs about 3 lbs 8 oz. It has a classic Americana, Cottage Core, or country look, making it a perfect addition to a country kitchen or a collection of such items. There are a couple of important condition issues to note: Unfortunately, someone must have placed a wet or hot cup on the lid, causing a dark ring and damage to the finish on the daisies. There are also a couple of other places on the lid where the finish is damaged. Additionally, there is a split in the wood on the outer band of the lid (shown in the last 3 photos). It is small, but it is sharp and has the potential to get caught on things and worsen if it is not repaired. For decorative purposes, this piece is lovely, and the bucket itself is in very nice condition.
