Description: Here we have an I. Sorby branded wooden coffin / boat plane in as found in my shed condition.Front face is stamped I. Sorby with the horse logo and the back face is marked 2 1/4" for the iron size.The body and the wedge have been affected by wood worm and the front & rear faces of the body have impact damage ( heathens! ) it has a Hibernia warranted cast steel iron with great patina and a quick sharpening on a stone would put it ready to work.The plane is as stated in as found condition, having just had a quick wipe over but is ideal as a restoration or display piece.I have, at the time of listing other wood planes and carpentry items listed so please take a look at my other items.*** Open to offers *** I am more than happy to combine postage*, if you win or hope to win more than one item, please let me know after the first win and do not pay, where possible until we agree the combined postage, if instant payment is required please leave a note to seller asking to combine, otherwise I will upgrade postage where possible.
