Description: Time for this carriage with horse and driver to leave the attic and move on down the road! This unit measures 26 inches long, 16 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide. First the carriage: The carriage is wood with a rattan body and a braiding all around the edge in green. There is a folding 'convertible' top in black. This top is very stiff and soiled. I did not want to force it to see if I could pull it up. The driver is removable and is dressed in a black suit with a black top hat. The twisted rope reins pass thru his hands. The driver is missing paint on his left toe of his boot. The wheels on the carriage are metal and spin freely. They do have a rubber type covering over the exterior rim which is giving way. Next we have the horse: The horse is carved out of wood and has a tail that I believe to be real horse hair. The horse's amber eyes appear to be glass. The horse is attached to the carriage via two metal brackets. Under the front of the horse is the front carriage wheel. The horse's right front leg is loose.
