Description: Vintage White Glass Hand Painted Floral Vase; Bristol Glass? I found this lovely old glass vase in a charity resale store. The glass is very thin and delicate and the vase is very lightweight for something so tall! The glass is white with beautiful flowers (chrysanthemums?), leaves, and stems painted on a soft, green-teal background. It is quite stunning. My research leads me to believe this may be Bristol glass, but I am no expert and make no guarantees about this. It is interesting to note that when held up to a light, there is a fiery glow, as is seen in Victorian Bristol glass. Condition: I see no chips or cracks. There is minor loss of paint (gilding) and some staining inside and outside the vase. I have done a cursory gentle wash, but I did not want to chance scrubbing or using a brush inside this tall, shapely vase. Shipping: I am very careful when shipping glass! She will be carefully wrapped in multiple layers of protective packing materials to protect her on the journey to you.
