Description: This auction is for a Vintage VORNADO fan. The fan works, high speed really moves the air. It has 2 speeds. It measures approximate 22" across, 24" tall and 14" deep. It weighs 18 pounds 13 ounces. I believe it is model 9A. It has a green tag with a gold border on the motor. It is hard to read but I can read "9A" . Vornado’s original products in the 1940’s utilized “bakelite” blades. The bakelite blades were quieter, created less vibration, and were more aerodynamic. The exterior is in rough shape. There is rust, scuffs and dents. The plug needs to be replaced. The center cap is missing. One leg of the grill has come loose. There is a chip in one fan blade. I show closeups in the the last three photos. This would make a great restoration project. This is an "As-Is" auction so please see all photos and feel free to ask questions.
