Description: Very hard to find MONT BLANC 262 fountain pen with a 14k F- Fine nib. The 262 was a unique pen from the lineup, produced in a lower number of pieces. It was made in the 1950's and resembles the much more common 252 model. It has a snap on cap like the 252, but the nib is unique to this model and the cap ring has ornamental slits in it. It comes with it's original Montblanc leather pouch. The pen is mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. It is a piston filler pen. The pen itself has been fully serviced, which included full disassembly, thorough cleaning and all moving parts lubrication, thus the pistons operates smoothly. These snap on cap Montblanc pens from the period were very prone to their cap cracking, however there are no cracks visible anywhere on this pen. I have provided a writing sample using Pelikan 4001 black tint, in order to further describe the writing characteristics of the nib. Please keep in mind that I am a left handed writer.
