However, IT IS NOT a Vaillancourt. There may be a reason for the similarity. I wrote to Vaillancourt's Christmas Curator (they actually have one) and he reviewed photos of this item: "Unfortunately, the piece is not a Vaillancourt. There were many moulds made in the same style, so it is not unusual to have different artists use the same mould and many copied our style." Vintage estimate: 1980s. Height: 6.125".
