Vintage U.S. MARINE CORPS Mohave Desert VMF-213 Cap, HAT

Description: You are bidding on a wonderful vintage hat celebrating the U.S. Marine Corps VMF-213 fighter squadron that was active during World War II. This hat found at an estate and appears to be a reunion hat for former squadron members, especially those who trained at Mojave Desert (June 1944). This VMF-213 squadron were called the Hell Hawks and this snapback hat is quite unusual. I was unable to find a comp, so quite rare. Perfect for a former soldier or family member of a soldier. One size fits all. Made in the USA. On the right side of the look (looking at it), there is some looseness between the brim and hat. Also, a little wrinkle on the front that disappears when worn. A very unique find. I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I'm also open to local pick-up at my home in Fairhaven. I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
