Description: Add some Mod to your life with this vintage planter from the Ungemach Pottery CO, or UPCO. UPCO was founded by Fred Ungemach in 1937 in Roseville, Ohio. He had worked for Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company and McCoy Pottery. Ungemach (UPCO) was started in 1937-1984. Most UPCO products are marked and numbered. UPCO was noted for its attractive designs, good glazes, and durability. This white planter certainly fits all those criteria. It has a Mid-Century modern design, with two rectangles that overlap atop an oval base. The outside has a design which makes it appear to be a woven basket. The full UPCO mark is on the bottom along with Number 273 and USA. Planter is in excellent vintage condition with the only defects being tiny lines where the rectangle shapes overlap. These can be seen in Photos 5 and 6. Measures approx. 3-1/2" High x 10-1/4" Long x 5-1/8" Deep. Local pickup available in Lancaster, PA
