Description: Vintage softcover bound and string tied spine Yellowstone National Park souvenir book filled with 25 beautiful tinted prints taken by the Frank Haynes. Frank Jay Haynes (1853-1921), aka F. Jay, or The Professor, is considered to be the most famous photographer of the wild American West landscape of his time. The book is in very good condition. There is no date on this book, but would estimate it was produced between 1940-1950. The cover has some yellow discoloration from age and some wear to the corners. Inside a piece of bound parchment paper protects the first tinted photo print. Each of these pages measure approximately 13” long x 10” tall. Each print has a about a 2” cream colored border around it and is single sided making these perfect for professionally framing if you wanted to cut them from the book. The photos are gorgeous, Haynes had a talent for capturing nature’s beauty, his eye for dimension and use of tinted color made him famous. Each of these photos are in very good condition and breathtaking. I hope you enjoy them. As with the cover of this book, there is also some slight toning or yellowing of the pages throughout. Nothing major, but noticeable. See photos and ask any questions. Thanks for looking
