Description: Original Tiffany Studios, New York abalone adorned bronze plate numbered 1738. Stamped on back rim "TIFFANY STUDIOS" "NEW YORK" "1738". Good clear Tiffany Studios stamp marking (see photos). Circa late 1800s to early 1900s. 9 inches diameter. 5/8 inches high. Weight: Approximately 1.5 pounds. Just acquired from a very very old estate mansion. Retains natural patina. Some spotting which is typical on bronzes. All abalone medallions are present and intact.
