Description: Charming vintage stoneware crock / jar / cannister with matching lid likely dates from the 1940's to 1950's era. It is decorated with brightly colored painted flowers in pots. The decoration looks hand done - not positive about that but the surface is slightly raised. The lid is original and matching and fits perfectly. There are no chips or cracks on the rims. There are some original during manufacture slight flaws on the top ridges of the rim. Please inspect the photos. The crock has two handles with some textured detail. The base has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the lid also has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. The height of the crock with lid is about 7 1/2 inches. All surfaces are glazed except for the base. The base is stamped Made In U.S.A. but there is no other maker mark. If anyone can identify this piece, please let me know! Ships with USPS Priority or UPS Ground.
