Description: Yes, I said NEW. Vintage Stanley 71 1/2 Router Plane Closed, with unused 1/4 and 1/2 inch blades. Curved Patented date Oct 29, 01.This was in the original box that didn't survive, but I kept the end cap. When my great uncle Ben went into the building business in the early 30's (see photo), he stocked up on nearly all Stanley tools and took great care of them. He took great pride in quality work and tools. There are no signs that this Router was EVER used, so I have listed it as new. Nickel plating is perfect, knobs perfect, underside has no signs of use. If I'm wrong, any use was minimal.
