Description: Vintage Spalding Robert Jones Jr Tournament Registered Model Golf Irons Pyratone. Vintage partial set of Spalding Tournament Registered Model Robert Jones Jr irons; 3, 5, and 7 irons ONLY, all three have the same registration number as well (#141298). The original pyratone shafts are in rough shape near the heads as they have cracked pieces of the outer layer on all of them (the worst being the 3 and 5 irons), exposing the steel shaft underneath. Aside from the areas of missing pieces of outer layering, there are little hairline cracks all up the shaft which is not abnormal for these shafts during aging, these weren't stored in the ideal environment for the long haul but they are cosmetic really, it's not weakening any other areas of the shaft for more top layer pieces to become loosened (the closest comparison I can think of is how ivory gets hairline cracks over time). The grips are still in decent shape for their age, the leather is dried out but mostly intact. Each club has its club number at the tip of the grip as well, see the photos for exact details.
