Description: Vintage Sound Dynamic MD-2STV Headphones Chrome Retro Japan Tested Working. Retro Sound Dynamic MD-2STV headphones, also sold under the Futura and Audition MD-2STV names. These are big 1970s chrome headphones with a striking aesthetic, made in Japan. The headphone are in vintage, used condition with some obvious signs of age and use. There is wear and some discoloration/marks to the ear pads, some small scratches on the headband, the original rivets/bolts that connect the headband to the left and right speakers has been replaced on each side, part of the plastic/rubber around the top of the cable has come loose, and there are general small scuffs, scratches and marks on the chrome areas of the headphones. These have been tested and they do work (sound can be heard in both the right and left ears) - see video of these being tested. CONDITION: Working but used, vintage condition with obvious signs of wear and use. There is wear and some discoloration/marks and small cracks to the ear pads. Some small scratches on the top of the headband. The original chrome rivets/bolts that connect the headband to the left and right sides have been replaced on each side with just screws and nuts. Part of the reinforced plastic/rubber around the top of the cable has come loose, and there is black electrical tape on the jack area. And there are overall small scuffs, scratches, and marks on the chrome areas of the headphones. These have been tested and they do work (sound can be heard in both the right and left ears), but the connection to the right headphone is a little flaky. See all photos and the video.
