Description: Vintage Sony Portable Transistor Radio. WORKS Model 5F-90W, AM-FM Bands, 9 Transistors, Made In Japan, Circa 1966 Very nice classic vintage design. AM & FM reception, nine transistors. Nice and difficult to find. Blue case is in excellent condition without any damage. Radio has been tested and plays on both bands. Antenna is excellent. Dial works as designed. Powered by three 1.5v batteries. Some blemishes on the aluminum that should polish out. Leather case is in good condition considering its age of 60+ years or so but may be improved with some leather conditioner. Shoulder strap is gone and the edges are curling. More so at the vertical edges of the back flap. (See Photos).
