Description: Original rare 1990s Sonic Youth band shirt featuring the Hysteric Glamour collaboration “Invincible Squadron” (Sentai Muteki) anime/manga astronaut space graphic. A classic with the uncommon maroon red background for this design, made famous by Kurt Cobain wearing the white background version during Nirvana's last ever performance in Munich in 1994. This is the only true vintage shirt I've seen currently available with this design that's in excellent condition, without having to order from Japan and pay the corresponding shipping and taxes. I’m the original owner and bought this at a show in 1994. It’s in great shape because I loved it and rarely wore it — I knew I had something special at the time because it got a lot of attention from other fans. There’s one small dye faded spot shown in photos, otherwise no tears, snags, fading, or damage to the design. My initials are on the brand tag. Japanese on the front says "Invincible Sonic Youth" (left) and "Hysteric Comics" (right); Back: "Hysteric Comics" Size Large — 21.25” across the chest. Will ship in an art mailing tube to preserve the graphic in transit. Local pickup available in Los Angeles. 90s, indie rock, alternative, experimental jet set, trash, and no star, Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Steve Shelley, Lee Ranaldo, Kurt Cobain, Nirvana, Japanese streetwear, Japanese fashion, Nobuhiko Kitamura, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo, anime, manga
