Description: These were purchased by me from the Smithsonian catalogue, probably in the 1990s. Cloth covered presentation box is 4 x 6 x 1 inches. Each hinged cloisonne box is a different shape. Made of enamel on metal. They are approximately 1 1/4 inch across and 5/8 inches tall. Decorated on tops and sides with intricate floral designs. Interiors and bottoms are turquoise enamel.On some of the boxes, the turquoise coating isn't even and there are other colors showing through.Some of the boxes are a little difficult to open. That should get easier with use.
