It powers up as you can see but instead of a single white light fluorescent bulb there are different colors. Far out! I will say that the red tube flickers noticeably. Given the age of the piece I am selling it for parts or repair only, and no returns will be accepted. It may work as is but it probably needs some work to get it up and running, in which case the expense is yours to cover. If I had to guess I would say this never got used. There is plastic covering the glass scan area as you can see (which is roughly 18x12”). But more telling to me are the two small chunks of Styrofoam still taped in place to the cover. If you were going to use the thing those would have been removed and discarded right away. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated..
