When I first opened the case there was a small amount of oily residue in a corner of the case. Easy clean up and little effect. The case should have been flooded. I think the case was probably stored vertically and over the years, the contents of the two containers slowly leaked out and puddled in one corner of the case then leaked out through the lid slit. This probably created a mess to be cleaned up. Also, not mentioned, but included is the original box the set came in. The box is well worn, but no flaps missing.
