Description: VERY heavy duty SEALTEST wood milk crate c1950's. Metal banded crate with stacking tabs and rivets (as opposed to the standard nails) attaching the metal frame to the 1/2" wood slats and weighs a hefty 9 lbs 7+ ounces. Both ends have "Sealtest" embossed on them with applied black paint. The crate is marked "Registered to D.C. Co" There is a horizontal split in the wood slat on one of the handle boards, but the metal banding is holding it secure. This barn survivor is exactly "as found" but could easily be glued if that is the desire of the new owner. Crate measures 13" x 10.5" x 11" tall (not including the stacking tabs). The wood has a nice weather patina to it. This crate will make a great addition to any collection or display! Please see photos for more details and to evaluate condition for yourself.
