Description: This is a vintage 3-strand Joclas necklace made of heishi shell and turquoise nuggets. The necklace is 26 inches from end to end plus a 5.5" drop piece. The Joclas necklace was made with the 2 intended ear pieces tied to the bottom so that they can later be untied and worn on the ears. These feature a coral bead at the top and corn shaped nuggets made from shell at the base. The thread wrapped section at the top of the necklace is called a squaw wrap. This is helpful to keep your hair from getting stuck in the beads! This is certainly a beautiful statement piece!
