Description: A delicately simple single strand necklace of the traditional Santa Domingo heishi style. Fifteen sliver tube beads are 1/2" long and 1/16" diameter. There are fourteen shell clusters that are 3/8" - 9/16" long and 1/8" diameter. Each end of the necklace has shell clusters that are 3-1/8" to 3-1/4" long. The beads are strung on string with a hook and eye clasp on the ends. The total weight is about 10 grams. The necklace was purchased at Mesa Verde in the early 1960s.
