Description: Very nice restored GENCO PRINCE straight razor. Razor has been cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Overall very nice, but both sides of blade and front side of shank have some some spotting & pitting. See pics for details. Very light hone wear. Blade was finished on a vintage Thuringian hone using one layer of tape on spine. Blade width measures at just under 6/8ths. Razor length is 6 1/4th inches. Blade is approximately a 3/4 hollow. Front side of shank is stamped - GENCO - RAZORS - GENEVA, NY - USA.Back side is stamped - PRINCE. Front side of blade is also etched - PRINCE. Scales are faux ivory celluloid. They are in good condition, with only a few spots and scratches and minimal warping. Pins are tight and blade closes fine, but care should be taken when opening and closing blade to not catch an edge, as the celluloid is very flexy. Blade is shave ready.
