Description: Vintage red and white organza polka dot dress. Sheer top layer with a solid red sheath underneath. Fitted. No stretch. Double ruffled around neckline. Not made to be worn off shoulder. Sleeveless. Back with metal hook closure and a 16 inch nylon zipper. Each shoulder has a metal snap, only the female part is sewn in. Male snap is attached. I don't know what snap was for. It has three darts on front. Two at chest and one in center. It has either been repaired at darts or taken in to make smaller. I believe it was to make smaller. Unbranded but has a dry clean only label, a union made tag and a tag listing a style and size but I can't read. Age of dress kind of has me stumped. I did find that this union made label was used from 1955 to 1995? It's a cute dress. Approx measurements are bust 32 inches, waist 28 inches, hips 36 inches, shoulder to shoulder 13 1/2 inches, and overall length 51 inches. In overall good vintage condition. Items listed are vintage and typically from estate thrift storage. All items are sold in as found condition.
