The head of this carpet beater has a lovely shape, intertwined with 3 strands of loops of cane reed in an attractive design, this reeded intricately woven head creates a strong, flat surface that will release dust without damaging the carpet. There is a thick piece of cane in the center of its handle to strengthen it, the handle is wrapped with metal wire just below the head and at the bottom which is than finished with a wrapping of waxed cord.
