Description: This is a vintage sterling silver compact mirror made by R. Blackinton & Co. in the United States from the 1930's. The front has a black background with an etched design of a hanging flower basket and garland detail. There is also a small handle at the top. This piece does show some wear from age and could use a polish. Please view the pictures for close up details. It measures about 2 1/2" in diameter and is marked "Sterling" with the R.
