Description: Vintage Prison Folk Tramp Art Serving Tray or Wall Hanging. This was made 1950s or 1960s as the photograph included is dated April 1964 and shows the tray hanging on the wall in the background. The frame is made of light colored wood with dovetailed corners and has glass covering the tray. The background of the picture is pink and features parrots and flowers. Unsure what they are made of but the paper is shiny. There is a wire on the back for wall hanging. We were told an inmate at the Philadelphia State Prison made this tray but there is no documenting paperwork included. The tray measures 21-3/4" long from handle to handle x 12" wide x 1-1/2" thick and weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces unpackaged. The front glass is intact with no cracks or breaks. The tray has some mild nicks and two little round wooden feet are missing from the back. Being sold "AS IS."
