Description: The item has a very unique mark underneath - "Made in Japan" and, above it, a small elephant's head. This curio box was made by Tashiro Shoten. Tashiro Shoten Ltd porcelain shop in Yokohama was active before WWII and up until 1954 when it closed down. The curio box is in very good condition for its age. No visible chips or cracks.
