Description: I bought this photo at an estate sale in North Hill (Akron, Ohio). It’s a sepia photo of the 1927 Lake Geneva Student Conference, taken by Blakeslee Photo. It shows the Ohio guys who attended that conference in 1927. It measures 7-1/4 by 9-3/4. They are a good looking group of buys. Among the college pennants I can read (all are from Ohio) are Ohio State, Ohio University, Wittenberg. Reserve, Muskingum, Heidelberg, and lots of others I’m sure you can identify if you look closely at the pictures that I have posted. The image size is 6-1/8 x 9-1/8. They are posed outside a tent and there are a lot of good-looking guys in the pic. None is identified. It’s a great picture that apparently meant a great deal to the original owner. There are pin holes in the margin where he had it hanging and some tape marks also but nothing reached the image. There’s a number on the back in red: 1280. It’s a great photo from 1927. AND a portion of the proceeds of this sale goes to the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
