THE C CLASP ON THE BACK HAS A GROOVE IN THE CENTER WHICH MAKES ME THINK IT MAY HAVE HAD A SAFETY MECHANISM AT ONE TIME ---UNSURE. AND THE PIN POINT IS BENT, but it went thru my blouse and secured.
