Description: Humason & Beckley New Britain,CT 1852-1916. Pearl is awesome on this piece, minor chipping along back spring is normal for the age. Heavy H&B master blade stamp. Issues are with blades. The pen is slow open , snap close is good. Master is soft both ways. Problem is when close both at same time. Knife seems crowded. Master hits inside of liner which has an obstruction (maybe solder) inside. Not sure if was a repair or what. Any way is a cool swell center pearl knife from pre 1920. Sold as is.
