Description: Wonderful set of matching MCM table lamps. Base to finial measures 26 inches. The glossy tan/blush color ceramic body of the lamp measures 15 inches and the bulb assembly/harp add another 11 inches. Both lamps have been rewired for safe use. In very good vintage condition consistent with age and use, but no detected chips or cracks. Stylistically these have a stunning brutalist rocketship inspired tapered body, complete with golden geometric shapes to break up the (almost genie bottle) body. The base is felted and shows signs of age. The metallic gold decor alternates between grooved and smooth...ie, 2 of the squares are smooth and 2 are grooved. This design is echoed by the thin gold tapered rectangle in the lamp's neck. Overall wonderful condition though not perfect (there is some metal patina on the harp/bulb assembly and finials). The metallic gold squares have slight wear as well as the brass bases, but nothing significant—the imperfections just add to the vintage vibe! No shades. If actual shipping charges are less than the flat rate indicated, buyer will be refunded difference.
