Description: PAIR VINTAGE SIZE 4 D US NAVY SOLID WOOD SHOE LAST MOLDS 9-1/2" LONG X 3-1/8" WIDE AT IT'S WIDEST POINT THIS IS A MATCHED PAIR They are ink-stamped with the size 4 D #66X There is a steel plate covering the soles. This is a nice old original shoe last form used in a shoe factory for manufacturing a shoe. These type wooden molds were used to build the shoes to the correct size and form as they traveled through the factory from start to finish. This is made of Maple and is in really nice condition with a nice satiny patina. A great piece of American industrial memorabilia and an interesting and decorative item for your home.
