Description: I'm guessing this lamp base dates from the 1950s or 60. It's made of a substance that predates the current type of popular resin, but I don't know what the substance actually is. It was, however, made using a mold of some sort. The base is in good, age-related condition there's a hold in its center and one on its side. The top of the base is 5/14" in diameter. The sides of the base have an elaborate embossed scroll pattern. The base is 2" tall.There is scuffing on the top, that will, of course, be hidden; a small amount of gold has flaked off, as shown in our photo.
