Description: This wonderful old farm landscape painting features a large, beautiful barn with windmill, a hay wagon full of fresh hay, a small outhouse (!), two large, leafy trees, well-worn dirt roads, and dirt driveway. There is fencing and crops of trees flanking the barn and the background is a gorgeous yellow-orange-red ombre sunset. The medium is oil on canvas, mounted on wood, and framed. I believe it is signed "A A Micko"; I could not locate any information on this artist. I do not know when this piece was painted or what part of the country it comes from. I estimate it is from the late '90's, possibly 2000's based on the style, color palette, and condition. The peaceful farm could be located almost anywhere in the vast United States - a disappearing landmark of the fabric of our great country and how it was built. The piece measures approximately 21.5 inches in height and is about 27.5 inches wide (framed), a fairly large - medium size painting that will get attention. The (canvas) picture itself is in excellent condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes. The frame has some very minimal normal wear, but no significant scratches ,scuffs or gouges. The linen border in the frame is very good condition with no stains, tears, or discoloration. The painting is mounted very securely in the frame. The hanging bracket and wire are intact and sturdy. It's simply a lovely, original piece of art for anyone who appreciates America's treasured vanishing old farms.
