Description: This is a vintage freehand brushwork painted in the impressionist manner. Chinese freehand brushwork is characterized by its vivid expression and bold outline. The painting is signed but undated. It is an original ink painting on thick board with gold embellished edges. This is not a print reproduction. Measures 9-1/2”(width) x 10-5/8”(height). I found it along with two other similar paintings (please see my other listings) at my parent’s house. I remember it was in the house already when I was young 40 or so years ago. For sure, it is old. I know nothing about the painting nor the artist. Unfortunately, it has some discolored spots, and creases/tears on the edges. Please see all photos. From a non-smoking household.
