This is an absolutely fantastic elegant Orient Express table lamp, timeless reproductions of the lamps used on the famed long-distance passenger train service created in 1883 by the Belgian company Compagnie International des Wagons-Lits. It operated until 2009. The luxurious “rolling palace” linked Paris to Constantinople in under 76 hours. Made of brass with an adjustable rod for the lampshade, which can be raised and lowered to vary the amount of light it casts. Has a square base with four claw feet. The lamp features a beautiful gold color and an Oriental pattern that adds an elegant touch to any room. The corded electric power source ensures a reliable and consistent source of light. The lamp is made of high-quality brass material and has a glass chimney. The lamp is designed with a cone-shaped shade. This treasure is approx.: 19 1/2" tall x 9 5/8" at the widest point (across the bottom of the shade) and the base measures 6 1/4" square. In good working order with the wiring still in good condition. The lamp has been tested. Works great with no issues and has a rotary switch for easy on/off access. Bulb is NOT included.
