Description: Vintage Odd Fellows paper bicorn hat. This is quite early, I would estimate it date no later than the 1930's. The hat is lightweight cardboard and measures approximately 15" in length and is approx 5" tall at peak. Hat is stapled at each end and has expandable tissue paper insert, similar to vintage holiday decorations. Though hat appears to be unused, it shows age related wear and discoloration. There appears to be faint adhesive residue at one spot, stain spot, discoloration near staples. Tissue paper insert shows age and wear from storage/handling, rumpling at edges, small tears, folding, adhesive has let loose at one side on interior. There are slight print imperfections, not surprising given that this was most likely a free or very cheaply made item at the time. Overall, very displayable piece and great bit of history!
