The round, 9-inch bowl features a ruffled rim and a glossy finish in a carnival glass production style. The bowl is adorned with a grape vine and fruit pattern, making it a perfect addition to any occasion. Crafted in America in the early 20th century, this antique bowl is a one-piece set that is perfect for all occasions. The bowl is made of glass and is hand wash only. It weighs 1 lb 3 oz and has a base width of 3 1/4 wide and stands approx. 2 1/2" tall to the top of a ruffle. This vintage original Northwood bowl is a must-have for any collector or lover of art nouveau style. Bowl is marked with the Northwood logo. Bowl's color is purple or amethyst base glass with beautiful iridescece in blue, purple, magenta, green, bronze, orange and yellow. Basketweave pattern on it's underside with a silvery iridescence. There are no chips on the ruffled edge. There are chips on the base but it is mostly smooth to touch. I'm not sure if they are actual chips or from when it was made. The rim of the base shows wear consistent with it's age. There are a few deep scratches on the underside. The pictures appear to amplify the glass.
