Description: NEHI Soda Bottle Wood Case! Dated 1964, Madison, Wisconsin Here is a rather nice "NEHI" Wood Soda Case. It holds 12 large bottles. It is in nice, gently used condition. The bottom, which is often damaged from sliding on the floor, is solid and strong. The case itself is solid with nice graphics. The two long sides have identical print and it is painted on. Both ends are identical as well. The dividers are in excellent shape. NOTE: This should go without saying, but...some of the pictures show the case on a wood stool. To be clear, the stool is NOT included in the auction. Thanks! This would display nicely and could be used on a wall or table to display small knick knacks, if you so choose. I think vintage/antique fishing reels would look cool displayed in this case mounted to a wall or sitting on a shelf. The wood case measures approximately 17.75" wide, 12.5" across, and about 5.5" tall. I am not an expert on this piece but it is obvious that this case held bigger bottles than the traditional 12oz. I would "guess" 16 or 24oz. bottles. The dividers form an approximate 3.75" x 3.75" square. My pictures show the "1964" manufacture date, but in the picture it is difficult to read. In real life, it is easier to see, just wanted you to know. The pictures were taken outside on a sunny day. Please review all of them as I hid nothing when taking the pictures.
